The Nick Grinder is designed specifically for grinding nicks in cutting dies, with a pneumatic drive for optimal performance. The device features a patented attachment for pressing down rubber profiles, ensuring that the nicks are ground burr-free while maintaining the performance of the ejection material. It serves as an ideal corrugated board attachment for protecting the rubber and simplifying the positioning for setting the nicks. Please note that the device requires size 50 × 8 mm diamond grinding discs.
The Pneumatic Nick grinder is a highly compact and lightweight device designed for grinding nicks. Its ergonomically designed aluminum case makes it one of the most versatile nick grinders available in the industry today.
Its pneumatic air motor, which is directly driven, ensures a stable nick. With only the axle as a moving part, maintenance is minimized.
The HS-N78 Nick grinder utilizes a Taiwan pneumatic drive motor, which operates with low noise and vibration. Its special design incorporates four supporting pins to ensure machine stability. Internal regulators are included to maintain consistent nick width and depth, ensuring uniform connection dot size on the sheet. The tool is equipped with an oil-water separator to prolong the lifespan of the pneumatic components. It is fast and easy to use, requiring only 1 second to create a nick.
Operation Instructions:
To install the grinding wheel, place it between two brass-sleeves on the transmission-shaft, then use a spanner to secure the transmission-shaft and tighten the nut.
Adjust the depth of nicks by turning the control screw: Clockwise rotation reduces the depth of the nick, while counterclockwise rotation increases the depth.
Ensure that the depth of the nick aligns with the cutting dies to prevent abnormal wear on the grinding wheel.
The switch located at the rear of the device controls the motor speed and can start or stop the motor.
When grinding nicks, use the locating device to position the machine on top of the cutting rules, then firmly and swiftly press the grinding wheel towards the blade of the cutting rules.
